About the Blog
Web Mining in Education blog is jointly written by researchers from the EduMining Research Group, a part of the Knowledge and Technology Lab (KTL), a research unit within the Science and Technology Education Center (SATEC) in the School of Education at Tel Aviv University (Israel). The blog aims on promoting this emerging discipline, which brings together scholars from various fields – Education, Computer Science, Statistics and more - in order to imply Data Mining techniques for answering resaerch questions from the field of online teaching and learning.
Because of its multidisciplinarity nature, Web Mining in Education research may be viewed from many angles. We take the educational angle.
We will do our best in order to make this blog a source of information and a discussion place for all those interested in Web Mining in Education. Covering news, reporting on published and ongoing research, meeting experts, sharing thoughts – are part our planning.
